This book is extremely good. It is book one of the series and I can’t wait to read the next! It’s definitely fantasy but not as much as other books like Eragon, The Sword of Shannara and The Lord of the Rings. I think this because it is set at our time and it doesn’t have all the swords and really powerful magic. It does have magic but not in the same way. You have to think and imagine more.
This isn’t the type of book that you could read in large, noisy crowds because you need to take in every little detail to be able to understand the story. It is really confusing at the beginning but towards the middle you start to understand what everything means. What I found confusing was the 7 keys, 7 days, 7 levels, the noon, dusk, dawn and the will. But it all came to me later in the book.
I would recommend it to people over 12 because it’s quite a heavy read. Otherwise, it’s really good and people should read all the others!!!
